Drifting Jellyfish - Acrylic Art - at Heron Room Boyne Island (NEW DATE - Sat 23rd April)

Art workshop for adults - Drifting Jellyfish - acrylic on canvas - Suitable for beginners or anyone who loves learning new art techniques.

It's all about the process and enjoying the class and social aspects. Relax and enjoy creating your artwork in an environment where everyone is friendly and supportive! Come with a group of friends or on your own. I will demonstrate how to paint this design step by step but everyone will have a slightly different version depending on how they apply the colours. It's always fantastic to see all the different artworks at the end.

You will learn about:

Design principles
Acrylic brush techniques using flat and round brushes
Blending colours
Showing the light
Contrasting colours
Dry brush technique
Complimentary colours
base painting to make colours pop
on a 30 x 40cm canvas
