This puzzle is designed to engage young students who are learning Japanese in an activity that benefits cognitive skills and includes Japanese themes to encourage discussion and learning. Having this as a 96 piece puzzle can also provide a fun and engaging Japanese themed puzzle that is more challenging!

The teacher can pre-teach the Kanji and information about the cultural elements so students can use this knowledge to engage in oral language relating to the design while working on the puzzle.
